Q: Are the practice tests harder (or easier) than the actual SAT?
✔ You’ll actually be practicing with real SATs
All of the practice tests are real SATs obtained from the College Board. You’ll also have access to other materials from different publishers to work on your weaknesses while improving your overall mastery of the test.
Q: What can I do if I need help with a particular problem?
✔ Use the Ticket Support System or the Google Classroom bulleting board
The easiest way to keep everything organized is to submit a ticket. I review tickets each day, and I respond to them within 24 to 48 hours. To submit a ticket follow these steps:
#1. Create an account with MCP or use your Gmail account to login to My College Prep.
By signing into your MCP’s account, you automatically login into the Ticket System.
#2. Go to the “support” page [here] and you will see your dashboard.
#3. On the left top left corner, you will see a red button called “New Ticket.” Click on it and you will be taken to a new section.
#4. In this section you need to type in your name, email address, subject, category and description of the problem. You also have the option to attach documents. I highly encourage you to scan or take a picture of the problem which makes things a lot simpler and easier.
#5. Finally, submit the ticket and wait for my response.
That’s as simple as it gets!
Q: Why do my scores fluctuate?
✔ It is normal for scores deviate. As you continue to practice, your score will go up.
It is every student’s dream to see their score to continue to increase with each test. Believe me, your parents, teachers and I would love to see that as well. However, it’s possible that you’ll see a score go down from time to time. There could be several factors contributing to this such as the inherent differences between tests, or particularly difficult problems. Nevertheless, most students do improve over time as they continue to practice. The mantra: practice makes perfect is true and will always be true for any type of endeavor.

Q: Is it possible to cancel or reschedule an appointment?
✔ Yes of course. Please provide me with a 12hrs notice so I can make the necessary arrangements

Q: How do you teach online classes?
✔ The classes are conducted via Google Classroom and ZOOM meetings
When you sign up for recurring lessons, I’ll create your personal google classroom where you can find all of the assignments and material that you need to practice the SATs. If you do not want recurring lessons, I’ll email you the material as well as the aswers, and we will have a lesson based on your particular needs.
The actual class is taught via ZOOM which allows me to share my screen so you can see everything that I do/write. This allows you to follow along and ask/answer questions in an easy and straighforward way. Gotta love technology!

Google Classroom gives students access to materials no matter where they are. Gone are the days of lost rubrics or worksheets. Students can easily access classroom materials from home if necessary. This saves both parents and students from unnecessary lot of stress and enables them to keep an eye on their academic progress.
Parents are also encouraged to use the Google Family Link app to create and manage their children’s gmail account. The Family Link enables provides wide array of parental controls to help them keep their children safe from any number of online dangers.
